A healthy mind resides in a healthy body, goes the saying. The Sports faculty at the college believes that when you exercise your mind as well. Besides academics, sports is one of the important co-curricular activities, included in all educational institutions. Sports contribute positively to the academic performance of a learner.  Despite having enormous wealth and prosperity all around, there are serious health concerns plaguing Indian students. Sports and various physical activities act as stress busters inducing good habits among students. Apart from physical benefits like increased muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance, physical activities help in physiological benefits like memory and positive mind. The objective of school of physical sciences is to increase awareness on vigor, enthusiasm, and efficiency, develop knowledge on healthy living and relaxation and inculcate discipline among students.
